Scholarships for Hundreds of Better Future Blue Bird Group shows its care for education by giving scholarships assistance to 750 children of its drivers and employees. The event was held at the Blue Bird Group Headquarter Saturday (27/10) in a ceremony attended by the children scholarship recipients accompanied by their parents.

In addition to general scholarships for high school, Diploma, and University students, on this occasion Blue Bird Group also handed over a special scholarship assistance, which is meant for the less fortunate (disabled) children, and foster children or the kids of drivers and staff who died in service, such as in the bombing of the hotel JW Marriott a few years ago.

In the report of activities spoken by the Blue Bird Group Peduli (BBGP) Coordinator, Mrs. Noni Purnomo, stated that in a period of 6 months (semester) Blue Bird Group has handed over aid worth more than one billion for various social activities, including scholarships, therapy and supporting equipment for the less fortunate, and natural disaster relief, both for internal and external public. The biggest budget is still allocated for education.

Blue Bird Group assistance for external public has been delivered in the form of transportation to distribute logistic to refugees and disaster victims of mount Merapi several weeks ago. For this activity BBGP cooperated with several institutions such as Reuters, ANTV, NGOs Pos Langsat and Sehati Hypnosis Club.
